Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”)

This privacy notice describes how the personal data of users who come into contact with A.S.D. Light Blue School ITKA are collected and processed, including through the website, contact forms and advertising forms available on Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

2. Personal data collected

Depending on the method of contact, personal data such as the following may be collected:

  • first and last name;
  • telephone number;
  • e-mail address;
  • age or age range, when necessary to identify the most suitable course;
  • any information voluntarily provided by the user through forms or communications;
  • technical and browsing data collected through the website, where applicable.

In the case of a request for a free trial through Facebook or Instagram, the data voluntarily entered by the user in the relevant form are processed.

3. Purposes of processing

a. Management of requests for a free trial or information

The data are used to contact the data subject, respond to their request and arrange the day, time and, when necessary, the most suitable course.

The legal basis for the processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.

b. Management of registrations and association and sports activities

If the data subject decides to register for the Association’s activities, the data may subsequently be processed for the management of the registration, sports activities, administrative and tax obligations, and obligations required by applicable law.

c. Informational and promotional communications

Only where specific consent has been provided, contact details may be used to send information relating to courses, initiatives, events, activities, open days, promotions and other communications from the Association.

Consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

4. Nature of the provision of data

Providing the data required to be contacted and book a free trial is necessary in order to process the request.

Any consent to receive informational or promotional communications is instead optional and failure to provide consent does not prevent the user from requesting information, taking a free trial or registering for the Association’s activities.

5. Processing methods

Personal data are processed using electronic, telematic and, when necessary, paper-based means, adopting appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure their security, confidentiality and protection against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

The data will be processed exclusively by authorized persons or by providers operating on behalf of the data controller.

6. Data recipients

Personal data may be disclosed, to the extent necessary for the purposes indicated, to parties that provide technical, administrative or organizational services to the Association, such as:

  • IT service providers;
  • website and related system managers;
  • e-mail or management service providers;
  • administrative, tax or professional consultants, where necessary;
  • Meta Platforms, when data are collected through Facebook or Instagram.

Such parties act, where provided for by law, as data processors or independent data controllers.

The data will not be publicly disclosed unless specific consent has been provided or disclosure is required by law.

7. Meta, Facebook and Instagram forms

When the user submits a request through an advertising form available on Facebook or Instagram, the data are initially collected through the services provided by Meta Platforms and subsequently made available to the Association for the management of the request.

Processing carried out directly by Meta is governed by the terms and privacy policy of the relevant platform.

The Association will use the data received through such forms exclusively for the purposes indicated in this privacy notice and in any consent requests displayed within the form.

8. Data retention period

Data collected for requests for information or free trials will be retained for the time necessary to manage the request and any subsequent contacts strictly related to it.

If the data subject becomes a member or participates in the Association’s activities, the data may be retained for the periods required by applicable civil, tax, administrative and sports regulations.

Data used for promotional purposes will be retained until consent is withdrawn or until they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

9. Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area

The use of technology platforms and providers, including Meta Platforms, may involve the processing or transfer of data to countries located outside the European Economic Area.

Such transfers will be carried out in compliance with the conditions provided for by the GDPR and through the applicable safeguards.

10. Data subject rights

At any time, the data subject may exercise the rights provided for under Articles 15-22 of the GDPR and, in particular, may request:

  • access to their personal data;
  • rectification of inaccurate data;
  • erasure of data in the cases provided for by law;
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability, where applicable;
  • objection to processing in the cases provided for;
  • withdrawal of any consent given.

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) if they believe that the processing of their data is being carried out in violation of applicable law.

11. Changes to this privacy notice

This privacy notice may be updated periodically to reflect changes in legislation, organizational arrangements or the services offered by the Association.

Users are therefore advised to consult it periodically.
