ITKA Technical Committee

A group of Masters responsible for preserving, developing, and transmitting the school’s technical programs, ensuring continuity and quality in ITKA training.

What it means to be part of ITKA

Since the founding of ITKA, Master Gianfranco Pace has worked to build a technical structure capable of supporting the growth of the school and ensuring quality and continuity in training.

The goal was not to create a system dependent on a single person, but to train skilled, responsible teachers capable of effectively representing the ITKA method.

The Technical Committee was born from this vision: bringing together different skills and experiences around shared programs, while always keeping practice, research, and the interests of the school at the center.

The vision: study, exchange, and responsibility

The Masters who are part of the Technical Committee have built their own path through years of studying ITKA programs, personal practice, teaching, and engaging with different training experiences.
They continue to study and develop their knowledge, aware that exchange can provide new tools for understanding and transmitting a complex discipline such as Taijiquan.
Being part of the Technical Committee means taking responsibility towards the school, teachers, and students.

Technical competence, honesty, collaboration, and sincerity are the principles that must guide their work.

Requirements for joining the Technical Committee

Masters may be appointed to the Technical Committee if they:

01. Know the ITKA programs

Have achieved a solid level of preparation in the various technical areas offered by the school.

02. Continue their training

Continue their studies and professional development consistently, so that they can genuinely represent the ITKA method.

03. Contribute to the growth of the school

Carry out activities involving study, research, teaching, promotion, and dissemination of ITKA technical programs.

What the Technical Committee does

The Technical Committee collaborates with the Technical Director in managing and developing the school’s training activities.
Its main tasks are:
  1. Propose new initiatives – Develop activities, training paths, and opportunities for in-depth study aimed at practitioners and teachers.
  2. Conduct examinations and assessments – Participate in the technical assessments and examinations provided for in ITKA training programs.
  3. Train new teachers – Organize and conduct courses dedicated to the technical and teaching preparation of future teachers.
  4. Update the programs – Discuss the technical programs, analyzing their development, progression, and teaching methods.
  5. Promote the ITKA method – Conduct seminars, workshops, and official meetings in Italy and abroad.
